Hey guys =) And girls, for that matters.
Last day teaching for arts (and none of you guys volunteered to take my place =( sadly.). Felt like graduating or something. The exhilaration…It’s like after completing something big. E.g. an exam. Yeah I know it’s not an exam but I don’t have to go to work every Saturday and Sunday now. Retirement.
LOL. This is probably the longest holiday I had since my schooling life started at the age of 4, or 3? I forgot… My first school was Learning Hut, which I went together with Nana Low.
I’ve been on ‘RELAX’ mode for a good half year now. I think I’m ready to get back into studies, which will be shitty on long term… but honestly EVERYTHING is shitty on long term. People like changes and surprises and people get sick of one thing fast, and normally nothing sticks around long enough to satisfy one’s curiosity and interest for his/ her whole life. So yeah.
My school starts on 2 August, and Orientation’s on 26 July. I have no idea why I’m telling everyone this, but whatever, it’s not something of importance anyway. Keep or ditch. And in case anyone is curious enough, I is going to LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore. Again, I don’t think you care. Keep or ditch. I’m not sure if you have ever heard of Lasalle anyway. People go ‘La…what?’ When I told them where I’m going.
Something I’d seriously like to share with everyone (who’s going to college/ university soon). I am speaking from my own experience, okay? That is, lets say you wanna apply for a college, it’s seriously recommended that you GET AN AGENT TO DO ALL THE SHITTY PARTS: PROCESSING/ SIGNING-UP/ FILL FORMS/ MAIL FORMS/ ARRANGEMENTS/ STUDENT PASS for you.
Why? Because for Teo KiKi (my school is spelling my name as Teo Kiki, which is VERY annoying. Who ask my name so unique? Sigh. I asked them to take note on the error though, wonder if they’ll remember), she does not have an agent to do all the shitty parts for her. And she needs to do everything by herself (mostly without her parent’s help, except financially), from applying, getting a lawyer to translate all her Malay certificates into English (at the same time being commented that her English is ‘quite bad’ by the lawyer. Hello? I was trying to help by translating and you just SIGN those certs okay? And I wasn’t the one who wanted to translate in the first place, my Dad made me do it.) because apparently Singaporeans cannot read Malay even though they live so near to Malaysia (I bet it’s their problem…. Malaysians understand English as much as they do), mailing, waiting reply, applying student pass (very complicated/ mahuan process), getting the perfect photo for student pass, applying accommodation, scholarship. EVERYTHING.
The worst part is that KiKi probably annoyed some highly-ranked executive in the school administration, because she e-mails her like 10 times already, asking questions and the executive probably know all the answers as well as the back of her hand. Which makes KiKi looks like some stupid retarded Sarawakian who lives on a tree with the addition of having low IQ.
LOL. Okay, probably sounds nothing to you. But you can try. I bet you will feel so damn paiseh that you need to ask a stranger for information so many times, and that person sounds seriously pissed- off and unfriendly.
But the bright side? I feel so grown –up managing all these stuff on my own. That’s all.
Oh….. I realise this ain’t a shwort updwate after all…. AH. Never mind.
P.s. I’ll try to come up with something informative, stuff like tutorials or DIY… I’ll try? LOL
LOve,
KiKi
